The Edison United Soccer Association is a local youth sports organization serving children from kindergarten through ninth grade. The organization is coordinated and operated by interested community volunteers, primarily parents of the players. The league philosophy is embodied in our motto, "Participation For All."

Rec Season and Sign-ups
- The recreation division plays a ten week season in the fall from September to November and in the spring from April to June. In-person registration is generally scheduled on several successive weekends in late April/early May for fall sign-up and in late October/early November for spring sign-up. Actual dates and times are announced in the league newsletter, Feet First, in the fall issue (mailed in late August) and the spring issue (mailed in early March), and on the EUSA website. The scheduled registration sessions are the only times that sign-ups will be accepted. We do not accept mail-in applications or late registrations.
Recreation Team Creation
- In general, recreational teams are made up of children from the same area of town and are grouped by school grade level.
Teams are organized based on the location of the child's school, as follows:
South Edison: Benjamin Franklin, Herbert Hoover, Thomas Jefferson, Lincoln, Lindeneau, John Marshall, James Monroe, and Washington; Our Lady of Peace, and St. Matthew's
North Edison: John Adams,
Martin Luther King, James Madison, Menlo Park, Woodrow Wilson, and Woodbrook; St. Francis (Metuchen), St. Helena's and Wardlaw Hartridge
The following general rules apply to divisional organization:
Kindergarten girls and boys play on the same teams. In subsequent grades they generally play in separate girls' and boys' divisions organized by school grade. Exceptions may be made (especially in the lower grades) based on the player's ability and the desires of the parents or guardians.
